El Zorro aka Samuel Galvez brings his skills and experience as the only Master Tailor in the Okanagan area. He has owned and operated his own Tailoring businesses in Chile and Canada for more than 40 years and is very excited to offer his expertise and knowledge... There isn't anything Sam won't try to fix or create. Are you thinking about updating or designing something new for your boat?! Sam loves to brainstorm ideas and create one-of-a-kind creations.
In The Beginning...
Samuel Galvez was born in Santiago, Chile. He came to Canada at a young age with his family; they settled in Edmonton, Alberta. Sam returned to Chile for a period of time and returned to Canada in 2010 to establish a home and to build his Tailoring business. Through his success, he has also been able to give back to our community through donating and volunteering with local charities and events.
...Still Running
In 2020, he started to adapt the business...he no longer had clients walking into the store for alterations to their business attire and grad celebrations, weddings, and most formal events were canceled. Kelownians love their boats and outdoor living; so as the need increased, he transitioned to marine upholstery repair. Now that the space downtown is too small for such big jobs, he is moving the business to his home as of September.
